As of February 3, 2021, the number of NCOVI application installations was 7.8 million, an increase of 117 thousand ones compared to January 28, 2021.

According to the statistics published from the Covid-19 Prevention IT Application Bulletin of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the number of health declaration records of the entire population is 18 million, the number of health monitoring updates is 52.95 million, the number of QR code scan records is 7.25 million.

The NCOVI application was developed by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Health in collaboration with VNPT and Vietnamese technology companies with the goal of allowing people to declare medical information voluntarily and quickly access information about the Covid-19 epidemic. The application will serve as a bridge between the people and health agencies to better control and limit the spread of the disease.
