On September 16^th, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement on telecommunications - information technology (IT) in 2020 – 2025 between Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Posts And Telecommunications (VNPT) Group was held. This is the continuity of the cooperation between two sides after successes gained in the period 2015-2020.

After 5 years of implementation, the cooperation between the provincial People's Committee and VNPT Group has achieved a lot of positive results. Technical infrastructure of telecommunication - information technology networks can meet the implementation of the e-government and serve industrial zones, clusters and people in the province.

In the period 2020 - 2025, Bac Kan continues giving priority to the public administration reforms, improving the cadres’ quality, promoting the province’s competitiveness and applying IT and implementing the e-government. Therefore, the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement on telecommunications - information technology (IT) in 2020 – 2025 between Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee and VNPT is necessary and important. It will focus on the following areas: applying IT to the industry, tourism as well as traffic and transportation.
