In the 2016-2020 period, as a strategic partner in telecom-IT, VNPT Group has focused on investing in technology, finance and human resources to develop telecom-IT infrastructure to meet development needs of Hung Yen province’s electronic government.

Speaking at the recent opening ceremony of IOC Hung Yen, Mr. To Dung Thai - Deputy General Director of VNPT affirmed: If the previous cooperation between Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee and VNPT Group mainly focused on implementation to develop telecom-IT infrastructure for the province, the newly-signed cooperation agreement will expand into many new fields. That is cooperation in building e-government, smart city, digital transformation. The solutions built in Hung Yen province will suit the Government's development orientation and specific conditions and local development level.

For Hung Yen to continue to be in the Top provinces / cities of e-Government, as well as to realize the goal of building a smart city and e-government, heading towards digital government, digital economy, digital society in Hung Yen, the leader of VNPT Group emphasized the close coordination and determination between the two units. That is the continued strong investment in telecom-IT network infrastructure in Hung Yen, especially mobile network infrastructure; Improve efficiency of data transmission network exclusively used by the Party and authorities to ensure that all IT applications are exploited and used on specialized TSL network infrastructure; Promote the deployment of new application systems to serve e-government.
