On the afternoon of January 18, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province and the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) held a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement on Telecommunication and Information Technology for the period of 2021-2025.

At the ceremony, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province and VNPT Group agreed to sign an agreement for the period of 2021-2025, focusing on 06 key contents including: Providing solutions and applying information technology (IT) serving administrative reform, building e-government towards digital government; Ensuring information safety and security; Building telecom-IT infrastructure and developing smart cities; Developing human resources of telecom-IT; Information technology industry; Build smart agriculture.

With the signing of this cooperation agreement, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province and VNPT Group wish to maximize the strengths of the two sides, mobilize integrated resources to support each other well in performing the functions and tasks. The department aims to improve the efficiency of each party, and at the same time contribute to the mutual benefits of the government, people and businesses. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha highly appreciated the role of VNPT Group, especially the role of VNPT Dak Lak who has accompanied the province in building and distributing development of telecommunications infrastructure and information technology in recent years.
