The results of the preliminary round of the Vietnamese Talent Awards 2020 in the IT field were announced on January 26 in Hanoi.

The Vietnamese Talent Awards was initiated by the Vietnam Education Promotion Association in 2005, and jointly organized by the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and Dan Tri Newspaper. Marking the journey of 16 years of development, with the theme "The power of digital transformation", the Award aims to find more and more products that practically contribute to the goal of National Digital Transformation and solve urgent problems such as epidemics, natural disasters, the environment ... The Vietnamese Talent Awards 2020 has attracted a large number of scientists, technology companies, startups and students. Candidates who competed in previous years continue to participate in the contest. Especially, the award also attracted attention and submitted products from many overseas Vietnamese in such countries as Australia, New Zealand, Germany and America.

The Vietnamese Talent Awards 2020 in Information Technology field includes: 282 Contest products, including 176 products for the IT system of Startup and Digital Transformation products; 106 Successful IT Product system entries. The Preliminary Judging Council of the Vietnam Talent Award 2020 includes professors, leading experts in the field of ICT, in which the Chairman of the Preliminary Examination Council is Mr. Nguyen Long - General Secretary of Vietnam Information Technology Association. After the process of researching and analyzing the products, the Preliminary Council worked together to focus on comments, assessments and arguments to choose 18 the best products to enter the final round.
