On November 26, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ba Ria - Vung Tau in collaboration with VNPT launched the model of 4.0 Market - Cashless payment at Ba Ria market, Ba Ria City. This is the first trial at tier 1 market managed by the Department of Industry and Trade.

At the launching ceremony, the deployment units introduced to merchants and people the benefits of registering and using the cashless payment service.

VNPT provided QR Code, instructions of installing VNPT Money application and creating Mobile Money e-wallet accounts to more than 50 merchants in Ba Ria market in money transfers and online payments for all transactions via e-wallet or bank account.

Participating in the Market 4.0 model, merchants and buyers can buy, sell, exchange goods at the market and make payments by scanning QR codes, or transferring money via VNPT Money app on their phones.
