After 07 years of implementing the cooperation agreement for the period 2014-2020 and 03 years of cooperation in implementing the Binh Duong smart city project, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province and VNPT Group have cooperated to promote the application of telecommunications-IT and carried off proud achievements in the development of telecommunications-IT infrastructure, especially in IT application to the construction of e-Government. This is also a solid foundation for Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee and VNPT Group to continue cooperating in digital transformation in the 2021-2026 period.

On December 10, 2021, Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group continued to sign a cooperation agreement in the implementation of the Digital Transformation strategy for the 2021-2026 period with many specific clauses that are in line with the province's viewpoints, goals, and orientations for digital transformation and smart urban construction in the coming time.

This event will strengthen the time-honored cooperative relationship, and at the same time establish a foundation and create conditions for VNPT to coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee and other parties involved in implementing specific digital transformation contents in each industry and field, building e-government, developing digital infrastructure, building and implementing a holistic architectural framework, smart city solutions, develop highly qualified digital transformation human resources, conduct scientific research, encourage innovations, form a digital ecosystem, contribute to building digital government, economy and digital society in the province.
