Recently, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) has held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement on digital transformation for the period 2021-2025.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan said that in recent years, Khanh Hoa has focused on building e-government, promoting the application of information technology in administrative reform; speeding up digital transformation, innovation; and has achieved positive results. However, besides initial good results, the task of building digital government, digital economy and digital society is still not commensurate with Khanh Hoa's position and potential... Therefore, the signing of a cooperation agreement with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) expresses Khanh Hoa province's determination to mobilize resources and strengths from VNPT Group for its digital transformation and to promptly seize as well as effectively take advantage of the opportunities of the 4th Industrial Revolution; consider digital transformation a breakthrough solution in the province's socio-economic development.

Under the newly-signed agreement, VNPT Group will deploy advanced IT solutions suitable to the conditions and infrastructure of the province to lay the foundation for the development of an e-government towards a digital government, digital economy and digital society.
