On December 15, 2022, the Thai Nguyen Province Health Department coordinated with VNPT to organize a workshop on solutions of digital transformation for the health sector in the period of 2023-2025.

At the workshop, the Thai Nguyen Department of Health evaluated the results of digital transformation over the past time. Thai Nguyen’s health sector has achieved positive results in digital transformation, building a smart healthcare with 3 main pillars: disease prevention, smart healthcare; smart medical examination and treatment as well as smart medical management.

Although many prositive results have been achieved, the digital transformation of the provincial health sector still has certain limitations, suchs as  because the infrastructure system has not been synchronously invested and human resources and other resources have not been inadequate … Discussing at the workshop, the delegates raised many solutions to overcome the shortcomings and limitations, and at the same time contribute to digital transformation solutions of the health sector in the period of 2023 -2025.

On this occasion, the Thai Nguyen Department of Health and VNPT signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation for the period of 2023-2025.
