According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, in the first six months of the year, ministries, branches and localities have stepped up the provision of information systems to serve people and businesses. As of June 20, 2021, the rate of online public services at level 3 and 4 nationwide reached 60.72% (the rate of online public services at level 3 is 32.3%, level 4 is 37.4%).

With the National Public Service Portal - a product built by VNPT in accordance with the government’s demand, in the first 6 months of the year alone, the number of individual accounts registered on the National Public Service Portal was 239,000 accounts, an increase of 150% over the same period; businesses registered 50,000 accounts, an increase of 27 times over the same period. There were 177 million visits, an increase of 400% over the same period; 35 million status sync records, an increase of 269%; 754,000 records made, an increase of 220%.

In general, from December 9^th, 2019 to June 22, 2021, the National Public Service Portal provided 2,829 online public services at level 3 and 4; more than 177 million visits to find out information and services; 706,000 registered accounts; more than 61 million state sync records; over 1.4 million online records made via the Portal. There are about 123,000 online payment transactions (up 165% compared to the last 6 months of 2020) on the Portal with a total amount of over 81 billion VND (up 428% compared to the last 6 months of 2020).
