On Octorber 23^rd, the People’s Committee of Ninh Thuan carried out the pilot opening of the Intelligent Operation Centre (IOC).

IOC was built by VNPT Group with a view to improving the province’s management and direction, boosting the quality of serving local people, increasing the efficiency in the operation of state bodies and agencies and promoting sustainable economic development. This is the even which marked the effective and successful cooperation between the People’s Committee of Kien Giang and VNPT.

Ninh Thuan’s IOC includes 10 parts: a provincial public services system; a document and file management system; an online information supervising system; a security and traffic surveillance; a fishing vessel monitoring system; a smart tourism system; an environmental monitoring system; a scene reporting system; SOC - Security Operations Center; and an urban infrastructure management system.

The construction of IOC is the basis of the formation of advanced and model Ninh Thuan’s Smart City, Through the IOC, the interaction between the people and the government will be enhanced and civil satisfaction will be increased.
