As a province in the Northern Midlands and Mountains with high terrain with many rivers and streams, many waterfalls and rapids, Son La has abundant hydropower resources. However, Son La still faces many difficulties, so a modern, rich and strong province is always the aspirations of all levels of government and people here. Son La Intelligence Operations Center (IOC) officially opened on December 3, 2020 with the support from VNPT Group, has partly realized that dream.

In reality, it is a radical transformation of Son La with the standard IOC built by the most skilled IT engineers of VNPT and the Provincial People's Committee.

VNPT Group provides infrastructure, installation, operation and system exploitation on the Tier3 International Standard Data Integration Center to ensure stable operation, information safety, data and network security. Currently, the system is ready to go into operation, in timely response to the direction and administration of the leaders of Son La Provincial People's Committee. The reception activities, reflecting the recommendations of the people in the whole province, for the people to grasp and interact with the government through the IOC software proves the superiority of the Operations Center.
