On the afternoon of November 18, Tuy Hoa City People’s Committee coordinated with VNPT to inaugurate the Tuy Hoa Intelligent City Operation Center (IOC).

Mr. Cao Dinh Huy – Chairman of the Tuy Hoa City People’s Committee said that, “IOC is considered the brain of the Smart City, performing the function of collecting and analyzing information, supporting the direction, management and administration of the city leaders quickly and efficiently. Currently, Tuy Hoa IOC has integrated monitoring and operating 06 components: Connecting and integrating the system to reflect people’s recommendations; connecting the camera surveillance system to monitor traffic safety and security; connect smart lighting system; the field of socio-economic supervision and administration; the field of public administrative service supervision; medical.

According to Mr. Cao Dinh Huy, “in order for Tuy Hoa IOC to be effective, the Tuy Hoa City People's Committee has issued a regulation on management and operation, and at the same time instructed people to download the "Online Tuy Hoa City" application on smartphones. Tuy Hoa IOC’s coming into operation marks a new step in the city's digital transformation and helps the city fulfill its goal of becoming a grade I city by 2025. This is the 84th IOC system and the 29th provincial/city IOC deployed by VNPT

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy General Director of VNPT Group Nguyen Nam Long said that VNPT always focuses its resources, research and development for IOCs to promote their full efficiency and capacity. Clearly, all data is only valid when they are connected between levels, so VNPT has built an IOC system not only for localities but also for Government levels and ministries, departments and branches, in order to create the most comprehensive connection system between Government - locality.
