Currently, the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group VNPT is urgently completing the installation of 5G stations to be ready to broadcast and provide VinaPhone 5G for commercial testing in two major cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Mobile users will experience VinaPhone 5G network with maximum speed up to 2.2Gbps, average speed 10 times higher than current 4G.

The Ministry of Information and Communications officially allows VNPT Group to test commercial 5G at the 2,600MHz, 3,700-3,800MHz (C-Band) bands. VNPT is also the only unit to test 5G commercialization in the two largest cities in the country. In order for many customers to experience the superior speed of 5G, VNPT will deploy seamless 5G coverage in the central districts of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, including public spaces.

In particular, along with the broadcast of VinaPhone 5G commercially tested, VNPT also prepares 5G experience points to serve customers free of charge. Mobile users can go to VNPT's 5G experience points in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh to experience 5G technology on the latest 5G-enabled phone models as well as attractive technology applications such as AR / VR, robot control through 5G with absolute precision. For users who already have 5G-enabled devices, VNPT will dedicate many attractive policies to customers’ active experience in the coverage area.
