VNPT with its strength as a State-owned telecommunications and information technology enterprise has supported and accompanied Can Tho city in its project “Building Can Tho city to become a smart city between 2016 and 2025, with vision to 2030.

In 2022, Can Tho city’s VNPT has earnestly launched IT projects to administrative customers across Can Tho city, including “Smart tourism software system facilities” for Can Tho city’s tourism development center.

VNPT of Can Tho has also successfully organized “Digital transformation conference of business-led Party committee”, allowing for the introduction of digital transformation products such as eOffice, vnPortal, Party member handbook to a wider business audience across the city.

Regarding Smart education: IOC Edu, services to assess the quality of schools and E-library are being launched. Furthermore, other projects are being launched to invest in the instalment of digital technologies to enhance districts’ People’s Committee’s operations and build Digital Transformation Index (DTI).
