The Department of Business Development (Ministry of Planning and Investment) and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) signed a cooperation agreement to promote digital transformation for Vietnamese enterprises on September 14, 2022.

According to the agreement, the two sides will coordinate to promote digital transformation for Vietnamese businesses. Specifically, the both sides will carry out activities to raise the awareness of businesses about digital transformation, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through communication programs, conferences and training seminars on digital transformation. The two sides will also support to improve digital transformation capabilities through training activities, application guides of digital technologies, including testing VNPT's platforms and solutions.

VNPT has accompanied the Enterprise Development Department - Ministry of Planning and Investment to organize 06 seminars with the participation of 1,200 businesses in many localities across the country such as Ninh Thuan, Hai Phong, Binh Duong, Tuyen Quang, Da Nang... to raise awareness of digital transformation and business vision; digitalization of business activities, market access, customer care; digitalization of business management, production, technology...; providing training, solution connections. In the coming time, VNPT commits to prioritize resources focusing on implementing the cooperation activities, accompanying the Department of Business Development to actualize capability strengthening and promotion and acceleration of digital transformation of Vietnamese enterprises.
