On August 8, VNPT and Kien Giang Province's Department of Industry and Trade held a signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement on digital transformation.

Digital transformation in the activities of the local Industry and Trade has been implemented to promote the power of digital technology, change the perception of strategic vision; improve management and administration capacity, and at the same time build digital management agencies and digital units, strengthen administrative reforms, reduce time and costs for people and businesses; contribute to the sustainable, safe and modern socio-economic development of the province.

Under the agreement, VNPT accompanies Kien Giang Department of Industry and Trade in digital transformation, commits to use the best resources, quickly starts to implement the contents of the cooperation agreement signed between the two parties. At the same time, VNPT hopes that the Department of Industry and Trade and related units will create favorable conditions for VNPT to access, understand the local needs and deploy Telecommunications - Information Technology (VT-IT) applications in order to contribute to perfecting solutions, better meet the needs of IT application in management and administration, building a modern and intelligent industry and trade industry, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the locality in the new situation.
