After 5 years (2014-2020) collaborating with VNPT Group on promoting the application of telecommunications and IT, Lao Cai province has achieved proud achievements in the development of telecommunications-IT infrastructure and e-Government. It is also a solid foundation for VNPT Group and Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee to continue comprehensive cooperation in the field of telecommunications and digital transformation in the 2021-2025 period.

On the solid foundation of the results achieved in the period 2014-2020, on August 5, 2021, VNPT Group and the People's Committee of Lao Cai province signed a cooperation agreement in the field of telecommunications and digitalization for the period 2021-2025.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, leaders of VNPT Group affirmed that VNPT will continue to accompany Lao Cai in leading and developing the digital economy. VNPT will join the province in promoting digital transformation of industries such as agriculture, tourism, and e-commerce, or providing digital transformation solutions for small and medium enterprises with limited resources. VNPT will help Lao Cai promote the construction of mobile telecommunications infrastructure, high-speed Internet and IoT infrastructure to create a ready foundation for the digital transformation of the province's economic sectors.
