The Ministry of Information and Communications on November 3^rd officially gave VNPT Corporation license to provided civil digital signing and authorization services, including VNPT – SmartCA.

Previously, on October 28^th, the Ministry approved VNPT’s launching of the remote signing service. This is considered a milestone for VNPT in its path towards completing its own digital ecology.

Remote signing is the new digital signing solution in use in many developed countries in the digitalization process of the economy, catalyzing financial transactions, trading activities of individuals, organizations, enterprises,… Unlike normal digital signing solutions, remote signing does not require the use of USB Token, has higher levels of speed and security, is independent of the Internet provider and can be used right on smartphones and tablets instead of just computers like before.
