On June 17th, The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development collaborated with the Ministry of Information and Communications and VNPT Group to officially deploy the information system and national database on the livestock industry. This is considered one of the first important steps in digital transformation of agriculture.

Earlier, a software built by VNPT was piloted by the Department of Livestock Production to collect and update the database of feed and livestock facilities in 7 provinces and cities and nearly 270 factories across the country.

Nearly 600 accounts have been issued to factories, livestock enterprises, farms and veterinary staff to update the database.

The national database on livestock production is an essential basis for the management and development of livestock production according to the market's orientation, signals, and needs.
