On May 10, the signing ceremony of a cooperation program to build a national database on cadres, civil servants and public employees in state agencies took place at the Ministry of Home Affairs. According to the signed contents, VNPT Group is the unit that accompanies the Ministry of Home Affairs in implementing this important task.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has evaluated many units providing technology solutions using strict criteria and finally selected VNPT as its partner. VNPT Group is a leading state-owned enterprise in the field of Telecommunications - Information Technology and a pioneer in leading national digital transformation projects, with extensive experience in implementing important digital projects for the Government, Ministries, and sectors such as the Vietnam Data Exchange Platform – VDXP, the National Public Service Portal and recently the National Population Database project.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Ngo Dien Hy, Deputy General Director of VNPT Group, said that the national database on cadres, civil servants and public employees has a very large amount of data, with an extensive capacity and network for connecting and sharing data. Therefore, ensuring transmission speed and information security plays a particularly important role, requiring appropriate, synchronous, unified, and interoperable technical solutions. With experience in successfully implementing the National Database on Population, Vietnam Data Exchange Platform – VDXP projects as well as other major government projects, VNPT will have appropriate technical and information security solutions for the project. In addition, as the unit that builds and implements the National Database on Population project, the integration with the National Database on Population to synchronize with the data of civil servants and public servants to ensure the accuracy of the data will also encounter many advantages. VNPT is committed to completing the project to put it into operation on schedule.
