In the Asia-Pacific region, VNPT Group is the first network operator to successfully develop a new generation device to provide Internet services at customers' homes using Qualcomm’s XGS-PON WiFi 7's advanced technology platform. In Vietnam, VNPT is also the first network operator to successfully develop a new generation Internet providing device using XGS-PON WiFi 7 technology and deploy it on the network.

On October 3, 2024, in Hanoi, VNPT Group officially launched a new generation Internet service provider integrating advanced WiFi 7 technology (XGS-PON WiFi 7) and became the first network operator in Vietnam deploying this breakthrough technology with Qualcomm 10G Fiber. The event not only affirmed VNPT's leading position in deploying fiber optic cable and WiFi technology, contributing to consolidating technological capacity and enhancing international cooperation for VNPT to access new technologies, but also directly improved VNPT's domestic equipment manufacturing capacity.

VNPT's advanced technology products use Qualcomm 10G Fiber Gateway platforms, providing a new generation fiber optic Internet connection solution combined with WiFi 7 wireless coverage technology, bringing us a stable and high-speed Internet experience with very low latency. Using Qualcomm's leading technologies and chipsets helps ensure the stability of service quality, even in limited Wifi transmission environments. The new generation customer home Internet service provider XGS-PON WiFi 7 has opened a new cycle in setting standards for the broadband industry not only in Vietnam but also in Asia – Pacific.
