On November 21, 2022, in Vientiane, Laos, VNPT Group coordinated with the Lao Ministry of Technology and Communications to organize a workshop on VNPT's e-government solutions, implementation experience in Vietnam and direction of e-government development for the Lao government in the coming time.

There were nearly 100 representatives of government agencies, ministries and sectors from the Government Office, the National Assembly Office, the Party Central Committee Office and 17 ministries such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Technology - Communication, Ministry of Planning - Investment, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education & Sports, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Education...attending the workshop. There were also representatives of ministerial-level agencies such as the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Central Bank of Laos, Lao Trade Association, Lao Women's Union...

At the workshop, the representatives of the Ministry of Technology and Communications of Laos presented the deployment results of e-Office solution in Laos. VNPT has deployed this solution in 03 units including the Ministry of Technology and Communications, the Office of the Government and the Ministry of Planning and Investment. The Lao Ministry of Communications Technology highly appreciated the effectiveness of VNPT's e-Office solution on cost saving as well as processing time of ministries and sectors in recent years. The ministry hoped to learn more about VNPT's e-government solutions to give consultancy to the Lao Government on improving e-government development as well as direction in the coming time.

At the workshop, VNPT's representative presented 06 panel discussion on solutions and implementation experience in Vietnam and at the same time proposed cooperation opportunities between two sides in the coming time such as:

- The e-government solution kit of VNPT, proposals of cooperation in developing e-government of the Lao Government in the near future.

- System for handling administrative procedures (VNPT iGate)

- Smart reporting system (VSR)

- Intelligent operating center system (VNPT IoC)

- Data Interoperability Platform (VDXP)

- National Database on Population
