Following the direction of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, up to this point, VNPT has completed the installation of more than 2,400 surveillance cameras on 150 concentrated quarantine facilities in 32 provinces/cities from Da Nang Nang back in.

The main features of the camera system are live monitoring (live view), playback (play back), user authorization (user groups), user data protection, access logging, and tracking with regulations designed to meet the requirements of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control. Advanced features will continue to be updated according to actual requests from the Steering Committee and the Ministry of Information and Communications.

In order to meet the new requirements of COVID-19 prevention and control, VNPT is investing in infrastructure to connect 10,000 surveillance cameras in isolation areas.

Not only making full contributions with specific material values to support the Fatherland Front in provinces/cities as well as preferential programs on telecommunications and IT services to support businesses and people, VNPT's IT system has also been early activated to work with the political system to best implement the prevention and control of COVID-19.
