VNPT has just handed out the first tablets, in accordance with the “Wave and computer for children” program, to disadvantaged students in Dong Nai and Long An.

According to the program launched by the Ministry of information and Media, VNPT Group has committed to giving away 37.000 tablets to support students from poor households in regions that are implementing Directive 16 to study online, ensuring that no students are “left behind”.

Specifically, on November 10^th, VNPT Group and the People’s Committee of Dong Nai gave 5.656 tablets to students in difficult situations in Dong Nai Province. After that, on November 11^th, VNPT Group gave 2.687 tablets for disadvantaged students of Long An province.

Therefore, Long An and Dong Nai have become the 2 first provinces to receive tablets from the “Wave and computers for children” program of VNPT Group, which is also the first unit to launch this scheme.
