In 2020, VNPT was honored at the International Business Awards 2020 (International Business Awards - IBA Stevie Awards) with 5 major awards for information technology solutions to build e-Government. In particular, the Information System for Reporting and Directing (VNPT VSR) won the Gold Award in the category of information technology management solutions. In 2021, Sao Khue named VNPT VSR in the prestigious award in the category of Digital Government. Sao Khue 2021's recognition once again affirms the success and practical results of VNPT VSR.

VNPT's information system, reporting, and operating direction, which was built and developed for the National Reporting System, was officially put into operation in August 2020 at the Government Office. According to experts' calculations, if all current administrative reports are digitized and connected to the Government reporting system, it is estimated that the savings for the State budget will be about 460 billion VND/year.

Today, most of the leading industrialized countries in the world have implemented the program to build and develop e-Government, in order to best meet the increasing needs of society, improve capacity and adaptability, and reduce government operating costs.
