An Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) has just been put into operation in Lao Cai. This a significant event to welcome Lao Cai provincial Party Congress and at the same time contribute to the administrative reforms and improving the competitiveness of the province.

The provincial IOC was built by VNPT. VNPT is one of the most important enterprises that help many provinces across the country to buil IOC. Addressing at the IOC opening ceremony in Lao Cai, one of the VNPT’s leaders proudly said: “With practical values IOC brings to a lot of localities, so far, VNPT has deployed IOCs for 20 provinces and cities all over the country. IOC in Lao Cai is the 21^st centre which was built by VNPT”.

The construction of IOC is the basis of the formation of advanced and model Lao Cai’s Smart City, contributing to a quality boost in people’s lives and public bureaus’ operational efficiency, promoting sustainable economic progress. This is also one of the successes resulting from the attempts at building the province’s e-Government.

IOC developed by VNPT will lend authorities a holistic view upon socio-economy, thereby promptly and accurately decide with less time and effort in the process of supervision and management. Through this system, the interaction between the people and the government will be enhanced and civil satisfaction will be increased.
