Director General of the Viet Nam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) Pham Duc Long has been appointed Chairman of VNPT's member council.

A ceremony to announce the appointment was held at the headquarters of VNPT on June 15th.

Mr. Long, a member of the group's member council, has also been appointed the head of the group's party committee.

Born in 1970, Mr. Long started working for the VNPT in 1992. For the past 18 years, Mr. Long has been holding a lot of important positions in VNPT.

He was appointed VNPT's Deputy Director-General in 2013. He became VNPT's Director-General in 2015. And since November 1^st 2019, he has taken charge of VNPT’s member council. At any positions, Mr Long has always made a lot of significant contributions to the development of VNPT.
