On December 9th, 2019, the National Public Service Portal was officially opened and became a reliable electronic communicative channel for people and enterprises to interact with the Government online.

From the initial 8 groups of public services, up to now, the National Public Service Portal has integrated and provided 1000 online civil services, catering for nearly 60 million turnouts, with over 14 million CVs being synchronized. With the vital role and mission, contrary to popular belief, this product is a very special and challenging one but full of creativity and bravery from VNPT’s IT engineers.

The implementation of administrative procedures in an electronic environment brings great benefits to people and businesses. To date, many essential and convenient online public services have been provided on the National Service Portal. After nearly a year of opening, the National Service Gate has affirmed its values and practical benefits. Currently, the National Service Portal has connected with 18 ministries, agencies, 63 provinces and cities and eight banks, payment intermediaries, e-wallet service providers. The total social costs saved when implementing public services is estimated at more than 13,000 billion VND / year, of which the National Public Service Portal contributes over 6,700 billion VND / year.

With these values, the National Service Portal will be an important tool, effectively supporting the process of promoting e-Government development of Vietnam.
