On September 24th, Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee officially put the IOC - Intelligent Operation Center into operation with the coordination of VNPT. Quang Binh’s IOC is vivid proof that the province’s leaders are determined to modernize telecommunications and information technology (IS) infrastructure, build e-government and aim at economic digital transformation. In the process of building platform for e-government, Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee has always cooperated with VNPT, especially for the past years, and two sides have achieved a lot of outstanding achievements.

As the province’s strategic partner of telecommunications and IT, over the past years, VNPT has been investing human resource and finance as well as working side by side with Quang Binh in order to build telecommunications and information technology (IS) infrastructure strongly enough for meeting the requirements and demands of social-economic development in the locality.

So far, Quang Binh has had a telecommunications and IT platform, a solutions system and all necessary conditions in order to implement a lot of programmes and projects of developing telecommuncations, IT and developing smart city, e-government….

Especially, VNPT Quang Binh has finished over 60km fiber wire, bringing broadband connection and 3G to the last 2 remote areas of this province. Most noticeably, in this area, lights are inconsistent; socio-economy is still disadvantaged. That VNPT of Quang Binh has overcome all obstacles to bring broadband Internet and 3G to these areas of the province is very significant. This has stimulated joy among the people of Arem and Macong because from now on they can access domestic and international information rapidly.
