Recently, the digital transformation in Tien Giang has been promoted by provincial leaders. Since 2019, leaders of Tien Giang province have coordinated with VNPT Group to implement the pilot building of Tien Giang Digital Government. After more than 2 years of focusing resources on this, on December 17, 2021, Tien Giang province and VNPT inaugurated the digital government platform of Tien Giang province.

Up to now, the Tien Giang digital government ecosystem has been completed with a mobile app for citizens (TienGiangS), a mobile app for government (TienGiangG), a digital government operation and management system (including iOffice, iGate, electronic ISO, 1022 switchboard,...). These applications are interconnected, connected and shared data with an open platform that allows digital government to connect with third-party applications easily to form an open ecosystem.

In the period of 2021-2025, VNPT will continue to be a partner of Tien Giang province in promoting digital transformation. Accordingly, in this phase, the two sides will step up the application of technical measures to ensure information security, data safety, and application of information technology services on the telecommunications network infrastructure built by VNPT. Besides, VNPT will continue to perfect and put into use information technology products and services towards digital economy and digital society.

In the coming time, besides providing IT-Telecommunication products, VNPT Tien Giang will focus its resources on building and developing Mekong ITP Software Park.
