On August 11, 2022, within the framework of the Conference on solutions to promote the campaign "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods", Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Vietinbank.

According to the cooperation agreement for the period 2022-2026, VNPT will deploy 5 digital transformation solutions for Vietinbank. Vietinbank will provide 6 services for VNPT. Taking advantage of the strengths of each party, VNPT and Vietinbank will cooperate to provide the market with 5 banking and telecommunication integrated products such as co-branded cards, affiliate accounts, good account package… The both sides will give offers to attract more customers and expand ecosystem of VNPT - Vietinbank, and provide banking and financial services at the network, transaction points of two parties.

Notably, both sides will focus on products that connect the payment system to best facilitate cashless transactions and meet requirements of the digital financial market development such as linking VNPT Money (e- wallet) via account number, public administrative services, technology software in the fields of health, education, business administration....

It is time for the two sides to connect the ecosystem with the big data mining. Therefore, the cooperation agreement with VNPT will help Vietinbank to transform its growth model, comprehensively digitize banking operations, improve the quality of human resources and execution capacity, becoming a leading multi-purpose, modern and efficient bank in Vietnam and to be in the Top 100 strongest banks in the Asia-Pacific region by 2023.
