In response to the program "Waves and computers for children" launched by the Prime Minister, VNPT branches of provinces and cities have supported the Department of Education and Training with tens of thousands of 4G sim cards to send to disadvantaged students in the area.

VNPT Hanoi donated 10,000 Vinaphone data sim cards, worth 3.5 billion VND; VNPT Nghe An donated 1,500 4G Sims, totaling a value of 900 million VND, VNPT of other provinces/cities are also implementing the program. Recently, VNPT Dak Lak said that the unit will donate 3,000 VinaPhone SIM cards alongside a free data account for online learning with a value of 600 million VND in kind and 400 million VND in cash. VNPT Quang Ngai provides an online learning support package for all students in the province, including a 4G sim card with a preferential price of VND 33,500 with unlimited number of sims.

VNPT Binh Phuoc has donated 100 smart mobile phones to disadvantaged students in the province.
