On June 23rd, in Hanoi, VNPT and the State Records And Archives Management Department Of Vietnam signed a cooperation agreement for the 2020 – 2025 period. This was the event which marked the new advance in the digitalizing process of state records and archives according to the direction of the Government. VNPT plays an indispensable part in that process.
Mr Dang Thanh Tung – Director of the State Records And Archives Management Department Of Vietnam, and Mr Ngo Dien Hy – General Director of VNPT-IT, inked the cooperation agreement under the witness of the leaders and delegates of both sides.
Given the development trends of the world and due to the demand from the Government, the State Records And Archives Management Department Of Vietnam has been cooperating with big state groups with a view to build and develop different application platforms and information technology is one of these platforms.
According to Mr Dang Thanh Tung, the most important state documents and documents between ministries/agencies and localities which are circulated on Vietnam Data Exchange Platform (VDXP) are the the most important source of documents. They need archiving for the future. These data and documents are circulated on a platform which is set up by VNPT. So, the signing of the cooperation agreement between of the State Records And Archives Management Department Of Vietnam and VNPT is extremely favourable.
