To improve operational efficiency of the administrative apparatus and the quality of civil and business services towards building electronic, digital government, the People’s Committee of Chau Thanh District in coordination with Tay Ninh province’s VNPT organized an instructional conference to launch the supply of digital signature technology to people and businesses when participating in bureaucratic procedures on the online civil service platform.

At the conference, VNPT’s representatives gave instructions on account registration, procedures to create VNPT smartCA digital signature, and procedures to register digital signature on Tay Ninh civil service platform. Accordingly, the registration of digital signature allows electronic transactions to become less time-consuming. People undertaking transactions will no longer need to print different types of documents and sign manually but instead will be able to digitally sign on smart platforms.

With equivalent legitimacy to manual signature and traditional stamp, digital signature is used to verify ownership over documents, bills, licences, electronic transactions without printing documents and stamping.
