On November 10th and 11th, the first tablets have been presented by VNPT Group under the program "Waves and computers for children" to disadvantaged students in Dong Nai and Long An provinces.

According to the program "Waves and computers for children" launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications, VNPT Group has committed to supplying 37,000 tablets to help students from poor local households that are implementing social distancing according to Directive 16 to study online, ensuring that no student is "left behind".

Realizing their commitments, on November 10th, VNPT Group and Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee organized to give 5,656 tablets to students with difficulties in Dong Nai province. Then, on November 11th, VNPT Group also gave 2,687 tablets to disadvantaged students in Long An province. Thus, Dong Nai and Long An became the first two provinces to receive tablets from the "Waves and computers for children" program by VNPT Group and VNPT Group was also the first unit to implement this program.

37,000 tablets awarded under the program "Waves and computer for children" is the fruits of the contribution of 37,000 employees of VNPT Group. Not only does this shows the traditional culture of VNPT, but it also helps to spread the spirit of solidarity to the families and communities in difficult times. VNPT Group will deliver all 37,000 tablets to 36 provinces/cities in December 2021.
