In June 2020, VNPT and Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee signed a cooperation agreement on building electronic government, digital government, and digital transformation for the period 2020 - 2025. VNPT demonstrates its pioneering role in helping the province promote the digital transformation projects and programs.

VNPT invested in building 1,424 BTS stations with mobile coverage, 308 2G BTS stations, 561 3G BTS stations, 555 4G BTS stations, through which 100% of communes in the province with fiber optic networks can use high-speed and secure Internet. VNPT has ensured the coverage of over 97% of residential areas in the area, including rural and mountainous areas, helping people access economic and scientific information and knowledge technique.

Affirming its leading role in digital transformation in the area, VNPT has deployed many core solutions and services, quickly promoting digital transformation in the province in all three pillars: Digital government, digital economy and digital society.
