On March 7, the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and Can Tho College of Economics and Technology jointly held a launching ceremony for non-cash payments in union members in universities and colleges in Can Tho city.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet - Deputy Director of VNPT Can Tho shared that digital transformation is electronic payment. VNPT Can Tho introduced the payment service via VNPT Money e-wallet to young people. This application provides simple, safe and convenient cashless payment methods via mobile money, e-wallets and bank accounts. The application meets all daily payment needs and it is suitable for all customers, especially young people.
In addition to safety and convenience for customers, Mr. Viet said that the VNPT Money ecosystem also provides diverse services including mobile networks, telecommunications, and the internet with more than 34 million subscribers, more than 30,000 schools, and more than 20,000 drug stores, more than 7,000 medical facilities, hospitals, payment connection for more than 5,000 public administrative services. Besides, customers can also pay for electricity, water, internet, online shopping, cuisine and many other utilities in daily life.
