The implementation of the digital border gate platform has been identified as a breakthrough in the digital transformation roadmap in Lang Son province by the leaders of Lang Son province, aiming to soon put Lang Son in the group of 10 domestic leading provinces and cities in digital transformation with the help of VNPT.

Continuing to implement the cooperation agreement for the period of 2020-2025 between the People's Committee of Lang Son province and VNPT Group. VNPT in Lang Son was assigned by the Department of Information and Communications to lead and coordinate with all parties involved to build and deploy the digital border gate platform at Huu Nghi international border gate and Tan Thanh border gate. The objective is to comprehensively manage import-export activities through the border gate based on digital technology, serving the direction and administration at all levels, facilitating administrative reform, better serving the people and enterprises that participate import and export activities.

The digital border gate platform will automate the process, reducing the time for businesses to clear customs, strengthening the management and supervision of state agencies, creating a multi-dimensional communication channel between state agencies and enterprises participating in import and export activities, establishing publicity and transparency in management activities at the border gate.
