On May 4, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) in collaboration with Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement to deploy telecommunications infrastructure to serve digital transformation at airports.

Based on awareness of the potential of applying digital technology and developing digital infrastructure, VNPT and ACV have decided to jointly fully exploit the benefits in this field. Accordingly, the Agreement on cooperation in deploying digital infrastructure between VNPT and ACV orients the modernization roadmap and detailed plans; and organizes the implementation of a number of main items, including: Mobile coverage infrastructure - ensuring Ensure 5G connectivity is ready to deploy for smart airport applications; Wifi coverage infrastructure; Data Center network infrastructure solutions (Data Center); Fiber optic network infrastructure, routing equipment and other network equipment... All of these will contribute to more efficient airport operations, bringing the best experience to customers.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACV Lai Xuan Thanh expressed his belief that this cooperation with VNPT will not only help ACV quickly and synchronously deploy an ecosystem of digital solutions as well as modern and advanced technology for ACV’s airports but also continue to help both units improve corporate value and service quality through creating experience and convenience values ​​for customers throughout the country.
