With the intention to combat the Covid-19 outbreak alongside the whole nation, in the afternoon of March 31^st, 2019, the VNPT Corporation dedicated 3 billion dong to the Covid-19 resistance through Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front.

This was one of the supportive measures taken by VNPT to help contain the spread of the coronavirus. Previously, VNPT had timely supplied the common cause with necessary telecommunication – IT services, along with special aid policies with a view to providing the people and enterprises with beneficial products in the fight against the Covid-19.

Right after Bach Mai Hospital recorded confirmed nCoV infected cases, VNPT – VinaPhone – member of the VNPT Corporation actively contacted over 7000 subscriptions that belong to doctors and patients’ families related to this hospital in order to find out information and update their itineraries in the past days. This has contributed to the reduction in the workload of the authorities, quickly warning regions which were the hotspots of the spread.
