On May 6, 2024, at the VNPT's headquarters, VNPT Group held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint its management personnel at the Group level. Accordingly, Mr. Duong Thanh Long, General Director of VNPT-IT Company was appointed to the position of Deputy General Director of VNPT Group.

The above-mentioned decision is aimed at strengthening more leaders in charge of IT and Digital Transformation, helping the Board of Directors of VNPT Group have more necessary resources to solve problems in implementing production and business tasks across the whole network.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Thanh Long pledged to continue his efforts to learn and perform well the assigned tasks, the immediate task being the work of internal digital transformation and data management and exploitation within the Group effectively in order to mobilize resources in the best way for the development of VNPT.

Giving instructions and assigning tasks at the ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Directors To Dung Thai emphasized the need for VNPT Group to soon complete the task of internal digital transformation to improve customer experience, so that VNPT can increase its competition further in the market. Chairman To Dung Thai expressed his belief that Deputy General Director Duong Thanh Long, with his well-trained qualifications and experience in production units, will successfully fulfill his assigned responsibilities.
