On the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam's tourism industry (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2022), VNPT and Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism inked a cooperation agreement on digital transformation in tourism for the period of 2022-2025.

Accroding to the cooperation agreement, VNPT and Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will cooperate in the building and implementing of digital transformation contents; applying information technology to approach 4.0 technologies in the tourism industry. The two sides will also cooperate in the implementation of digital transformation programs in the field of tourism such as: Digital library; Digitizing tourism data; Building a foundation of a virtual reality tourism system on digital maps and VR technology for tourist areas and tourist attractions; Applying digital technology to explain virtual tour guides at scenic monuments managed by the state to meet the requirements of serving tourists when coming to Cao Bang; Organizing events to introduce, propagate, implement the plan's content and train to improve the level and capacity of digital technology application and digital transformation of the staff of the tourism industry, tourism businesses and community in the province...
