On June 24, 2022, VNPT Communications Corporation (VNPT-Media), Cake by VPBank, and Be Earning Company signed a cooperation agreement to launch a new service where workers will be able to access wages before payday. This service will serve more than 30 million VNPT’s customers on VNPT Money app.

According to the survey conducted by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in March 2022, up to 56.1% of workers said that their salary and income were just enough to cover their lives; 21% said they had to live frugally; and 13.2% said their current income was not enough to live on. Besides, 82.3% of employees have a need to borrow money to spend on living.

With the mission of helping tens of millions of Vietnamese workers to access short-term small loans, 100% online quick and convenient disbursement process via VNPT Money application and a good interest rate of 8%/year, salary advance service will become a financial service close to workers' lives and meet the needs of consumer finance in Vietnam. The new service will help customers who need money in the event of an emergency between pay days.
