The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee has just announced 12 outstanding youth projects nationwide in 2023, including "VNPT SmartCA remote digital signature application".

The project "VNPT SmartCA remote digital signature application" was proposed by the Central Business Sector Union and implemented by the Youth Union of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT).

VNPT SmartCA is Vietnam's first licensed remote digital signing service, meeting the needs of users and organizations as well as businesses that need flexible digital signing, high-speed digital signing, digital signature in large batches.

The initiative was built to apply new technologies, meeting Europe’s safety standards - eIDAS and Vietnamese standards, bringing more convenience to users than digital signatures using traditional USB Tokens.

By the end of 2023, the total number of users using the VNPT SmartCA remote digital signature service is about 600,000.
