After 5 years of cooperation with VNPT in accelarating the development of information technology and telecommunications infrastructure, Bac Giang province nowadays has made great strides in reaching the higher targets which include building an e-government, digital government and becoming one of the leading localities in applying IT to its management and operation.

In the period 2015-2020, as the Bac Giang’s strategic partner in telecommunications and information technology (IT), VNPT focused on investing technology, finace and human resources in developing IT and telecommunications infrastructure for Bac Giang province. VNPT took a lot of measures to ensure IT infrastructure for Bac Giang’s direction and management as well as for local people and  businesses.

Based on the successful cooperation over the past 5 years, Bac Giang’s People’s Committee and VNPT have recently signed the Memorandum of Understanding on IT and telecommunications cooperation, buidling an e-government, digital transformation and building a smart city in the period 2021 – 2025 with a view to turning Bac Giang province into one of the pioneer localities in the digital process across the country.
