On March 28, 2024, VNPT in An Giang province coordinated with the Trade and Investment Promotion Center of An Giang province to organize the Opening Ceremony of An Giang Smart Tourism Information Portal - Checkin An Giang in order to serve the needs of residents and tourists to learn about tourism.
Checkin An Giang was built by VNPT in collaboration with the Trade and Investment Promotion Centre of An Giang province. It serves as an IT system applying advanced technology platforms to bring new travel experiences on a modern technology and apllications platform which was built according to the criteria "Convenient - Smart - Friendly - Easy to use". When being put into use, this portal provides many functions and utilities for tourists and tourism businesses and state management agencies.
For tourists, An Giang Smart Tourism Information Portal provides lookup functions, searching for travel information by location such as accommodation, cuisine, tourist attractions, shops, entertainment, events, helping visitors quickly find travel information they want.
For businesses providing tourism services, the portal provides information pages, introducing services and products for tourism businesses, helping businesses save costs in providing and introducing products, services to tourists.
For state management agencies, the system helps provide statistical tools, reports, manage user information, news, events, images, manage feedback and suggestions from visitors about price, quality of tourism services.
