On November 30, at the 2022 National Urban Conference chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the Member Council of VNPT Group – Mr.To Dung Thai attended and delivered a speech.
Addressing the conference, Mr. To Dung Thai shared how to solve inadequacy occured in the urban development such as overloaded infrastructure causing series of environmental, traffic and health… problems which have affected people's quality of life. Mr. To Dung Thai stated that digital transformation in urban management and operation is essential today worldwide and in Vietnam by effectively applying 4.0 technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), big data analytics (BigData), internet of things (IoT)... Smart systems that can provide real-time analysis, warnings, forecasts, and recommendations about every single urban change.
VNPT Chairman To Dung Thai also shared about the advantages and disadvantages of VNPT in the implementation of Smart Cities; at the same time, proposed some specific recommendations to the Government, ministries, branches and localities to better perform digital transformation better in the coming time.
