Attending the Workshop "Data Security in Cyberspace" with the topic "Managing and exploiting customer data - Complying with Decree 13" organized by the National Cyber Security Association on the morning of July 16, 2024 , a representative of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) shared about an ecosystem of solutions to protect data against cyber attacks. This ecosystem has initially achieved certain success and is highly appreciated by the industry’s experts.
VNPT's team of engineers has focused on building, developing, applying and deploying a series of solutions that are considered immune systems for information data security. VNPT has built generation 3.0 Security Operations Centers (VNPT SOC) with three balanced elements: people, policy processes and technology infrastructure. In particular, VNPT SOC's Security Monitoring service helps collect and monitor log information of security events from customer terminal devices, centrally store and analyze event correlation in order to indicate security problems that the system is facing.
The solution of VNPT can perform 24/7 monitoring, real-time detection and warnings for actions and behaviors related to information security; help respond to incidents with measures to prevent, handle and overcome cybersecurity attacks on the organization's infrastructure; ensure the stable, safe and intact operation of services; ensure and authenticate the integrity of an object's information (computer, data, etc.) as well as help customers protect brand and economic values.
VNPT's engineering team also proactively searches the customer network, combined with using VNPT's Cyber Crime Database (VNPT Cyber Threats intelligence) to detect and isolate existing sophisticated and complex threats which aren’t detected by existing security solutions; or new threats which show signs of attacks on IT infrastructure.
