VNPT gives nearly 400 4G phones and many devices to people affected by Typhoon Yagi

Recently, VNPT has provided aid for the people of Hai Duong to overcome damage caused by storm No. 3 (Typhoon Yagi). This aid has been given to the locals through the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

VNPT has presented more than 2,600 backup chargers, nearly 4,000 4G phone sim cards, and nearly 400 4G phones with sim cards with a total value of more than 1.8 billion VND. These products will be delivered to people in areas affected by storms and floods, areas with large-scale power outages, and long-term power outages in the province.

Typhoon Yagi caused a preliminary loss of VND 67 billion to the entire postal and telecommunications industry in Hai Duong, with telecommunications alone suffering a loss of VND 51 billion. Despite suffering damage from natural disasters, VNPT still wants to share social responsibility, support and ensure communication for people.
